I think the main thing i do with a new GT is find hte fist card, the card that is the centre of it all, or sometimes patterns. in one gt i found that the lady and man diagonal cards crossed at one card, so i used that one. i love the symetry with GTs , and now have learnt to read them for questions or one off issues, on a lazy day i might leave it on the foor all day and look at it (only if its for myself)

I have a specialist interest in past lives and reading. I've used a few spreads, but now I will only use the GT to explore karma and past life details. The detail is all there - I've been able to pinpoint times, locations and once even a name. The only other thing I do is the focus reading Teresa Michelsen created. I've found that helpful too but the GT offers it all.

Whenever I do a GT, I've always recorded it (although I do 90% of my personal readings tbh) and when possible leave the cards out. I remember reading that Mlle. Lenormand would spend a day on a reading at times. I can quite believe that as I think the GT probably was used by her when you read a few people's memoirs: three people recorded she did something called the petit and something called the grand jeu.

i did tend to take a picture, but now i often dont i have a good picture memory so i can just recall the picture and the cards in my head as i usually cant leave the GT out.

past lives i am very interested in at the moment, that and DNA. i dont use a GT much, because i tend to tune in to the energy or work with my guides instead, but its fun to do a GT because its soo rich. i will be trying a full life GT soon, i am curious to see if i can see a whole life in a GT...cant do this until i finish some other readings, but i think thats next on my list

It's possible, and I know a little of the methods that are used. A lot focuses on where the Tower is. Further away from the Gentleman or Lady the longer the time/life span.

hmm interesting, i think i will throw out cards and say what i see and try all methods and see what 'fits' and what doesnt. i cant abide rules, so i like to pick and mix. it has to be similar to doing a past life one as thats really the same thing, its about someones life using the GT as a map

Exactly. I would be interested to see it done. I've always been wary with the Tower thing. No disrespect to those who do use it.

my question is if we are lookin at cards at bottom of pile, and then re-grouping them, that means these three cards are somewhere in middle of dec (one will be at bottom)

so these three are what is referred in part(a) or these three cards are first three cards of GT?
