OK - don't open this attachment if you are frightened of spiders. This is an image of a moulted skeleton, so it isn't of a spider at all - just of her outgrown "clothes" as it were. I'm posting it because to me it's an incredible image that shows how the legs fit in the "trousers". Truly fascinating pic that himself took this morning.

It is of Cyd's old skeleton - sadly her new body hadn't formed properly so when she wriggled her way out of the old one, she wasn't able to survive. But her old self was lovely, and the way they are formed is miraculous to me

Yeah - I miss her very much . It's always a possibility with a moult though. SUch a dangerous time for them!

Wow! That is a fascinating picture. I'm really trying to get over my fear of spiders - I'm much better than I used to be. I can now tolerate a house spider in the same room as me but I can't quite bring myself to pick it up!
