Morning. My early day today. I"m dressed and ready for the road. (Still need breakfast and meds.)

How goes it with everyone?

So Flaxen, how hot is your hot?

I've learned its all relative. Unbearable in NY is not at all unbearable in Arizona. Same goes for cold. I'm wearing a sweatshirt here in 50's, when in NY I'd be all bundled and freezing.

G'morning Emmsma

I'm reading murder mysteries right now, Erle Stanley Gardner to be more exact -- The Case of the Fenced-In Woman. Decent books...I just didn't feel tired til suddenly I glanced at the clock and it's 2am -- and I have to be up in less than 5 hrs.... Ooops....hehe

Heat is all relative...When I lived in Texas, my body was acclimated to that heat, and WOW did I suffer my first winter here..it was AWFUL... Now I whine at 85, but the -20f temps are fairly normal LOL

It's 28 Celsius which I think is about 83 Fahrenheit. It wouldn't be so bad if it was a dry heat but it is very humid out there. I don't mind - it usually means we get a good thunderstorm. I'm not sure I could cope in Arizona temperatures - I think I would have to live in a bath tub filled with ice cubes.

LOL Emmsma, we use the same expression and pretty much describe the same reaction to heat/coldness....

Relativeness of temperatures is so true - you do tend to acclimatise after a while. I remember going on holiday to Thailand and feeling like I was going to collapse in the sultry Bangkok heat. I was much happier in slightly cooler northern regions.

All sparkly clean, and trying to decide what to wear. With this heat & humidity I'd just as soon go nekid

The dry helps alot. When the monsoon season ends we will generally have humidity hovering at about 9%. DRY. It works, to a point. 80's can be comfortable if you aren't sitting in direct sun. Once you hit 98-107 its all ugly hot.

THere is a silly group on FB: You're Probably from the Bronx if...

Its taking me back. So funny. (Reminding me that, yeah, maybe I was a bit ghetto growing up.)
