Salmon: if I or someone I know did not catch it : A) it is not worth eating and B) it is not free ![]() ANother friend just dropped off a huge fillet! I will have to have a BBQ I guess for that one. I will do it on cedar. EDIT: the difference between perfect salmon and over cooked is about 20 seconds! perfection is a must! For scale that is a 4 litre measuring cup full of my coho batter. __________________ Full cup, steady hand. Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing. Ah! salty-salmony. It is cured salmon rather than salted and dried (I have had that as well - my father worked in the The Bush and visited many Native villages and brought home all kinds of stuff to eat). Much better than lutefisk. *gag* It was a long time ago and it was made by nice Norwegian people we knew. I grew up in South East Alaska. I lived on salmon (and halibut). Always looking for new ways to eat the same old thing. I haven't had it recently. |

Halibut is the king of fish for me. I NEVER grow tired of it. We call it steak of the sea. They grossly and unnecessarily shorted the sport season this year! __________________ Full cup, steady hand. Hello everyone. Worked til noon as planned. Came home and had a 2 hour nap and then have been watching Emm playing games. Also caught up on Mercury Men. Missed a few episodes this past week. How is everybody? __________________ What happens in the Trade Train Cafe stays in the Trade Train Cafe! `````````enjoying the exploration - savoring the journey````````` ````````````````Collecting - Gazing - Shuffling```````````````` |

My boy is lost in Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters. Lots of reading text boxes, but he can always use the practice. ![]() I'll be able to mail stuff on Monday! |
