If you have high mosquito population, that might be when they're most active, as this is when Mosquitoes are most active. Mossies are an excellent food source, all full of Iron and protien. GREAT for growing bats.

I think there's a cicada thing happening.....eeewwwwwwwwww

There was an odd flock of birds this weekend. they kinda invaded the backyard for a few hours. Man O Man were the insect quiet then...LOL

As much as I hate to admit this(summer is not over. yet!).....it may be the start of the migration cycle for some species of birds, especially those that travel continents to their winter/summer "homes". I know the hummingbirds are emptying 3 feeders over a two day period at one of my clients, storing up energy for the long trip south.

Autumn has started here. I picked up a newly "brown leaf" last week. The tide has turned here.

Fall is distant mirage down our way. Aug & Sep are the hottest/nastiest. Even when my crisp, cool weather arrives we won't have the color changes. But all the relatives up north snap pics for us!
