First off, I want to say...doctors are useless. How many doctors does it take to screw in a lightbulb? ![]() That said, I'm wondering if anyone's had any luck diagnosing (or self-diagnosing) mysterious symptoms that doctors can't figure out...with tarot cards? I've read all (or nearly all) of the "health-related" tarot card lists on this forum and none are pointing me in the right direction. I keep getting repetitive cards for my question, but I don't understand them (what the heck do cups, in general, mean in relation to health symptoms, anyway?). I've guessed the gamut of potential diagnoses and according to tarot, I'm still wrong (and clarifying cards make the answers clear as mud). It may be a long shot to even ask, but anyone have any methods/successful ways to read tarot for diagnostic purposes? <frowning> I disapprove of using Tarot for diagnosis. As a qualified naturopath, when I was still working in the area, I even used to send my patients to GPs for scans and the like, because their diagnostic tools were so fine. It's their treatments which sometimes are a bit on-the-nose. All that being said, I *do* relate Tarot cards to health events, but not in the form of hard-and-fast diagnosis. My system is here. |

![]() I didn't know you're a naturopath. I just began seeing one but not sure he's "hearing" me or what. I'd love to chat with you about naturopathy, if you're open to it? My PM here is full, but feel free to email me (also from my profile here) if you don't mind? GA __________________ ♣ "The less said, the better." - Jane Austen, (1775-1817, British Novelist) ♣ |

Cups could relate to build up of piosons in the body and the need to eliminate them before they become a strain on the heart, kidneys or liver. |

I was thinking of things relating to possible overindulgeces like too much drink or fatty food with too many chips, that sort of thing rather than any more potentially harmfull substances. |

Nicotine ... alcohol ... protein breakdown products from too much meat ... air pollution ... chlorine in regular water supplies ... air conditioning by-products ... all sorts of things make us feel tired, cranky, run-down and so forth, and those feelings are early warning signs. |

Qualified in 1987. It's been many years since I practised, and given both the law and the lack of practise, I'd have to do at least a frefresher course. I'd probably go the full courses again. Quote:
