Question: You know those shoulder bags sold as "cross body"? Do you have to use them across the body or do they hang properly just used as ordinary shoulder bags? I ask because I really don't like cross body bags, but have found a bag I love that says it is one. If I can use it as an ordinary bag I might take a chance but I don't want to waste my money if it won't hang properly just off my shoulder.

It depends on how it is made Wendy. Some will and some won't.

At the place I go, I usually get one of two women. One is young and quick and not TOO chatty when I don't feel like talking, but the other one is SLOW...and she talks she doesn't cut. It can take forEVER! Of course, I could solve this by making an actual appt with the fast one, but that would take planning...LOL

Well, it LOOKS like you could wear it on your shoulder...

ETA...Maybe they just call it that because the strap can be lengthened for cross body wearing?
