I have it. I spent a year doing the exercises and the warnings are warranted. It is not a book to race through hastily. The exercises, done properly, dig very very deep into your history, motives, guilts - the whole bit. I found it extremely worthwhile and intend doing the whole book again in another year or so. The best book she wrote, and the only one I have hung onto.

Really? I've not liked her other ones, so I guess I was going off of those.

The others were, bluntly, twaddle. I was soooo disappointed because Shadow Work was the first of hers that I read. I did take the exercises very seriously and worked hard at them, but I learned a tremendous amount about myself - and I learned how to forgive my young self for so many mistakes. I learned how to handle my guilt (which most of us carry around) and where/when my guilt is misplaced. I learned a lot about my family and how I interact with them, and why the Vampire is the Vampire.

New pub!! YAYA!!!

At work - looking for new job. Feeling a bit under-loved after the "Thank you, but no," letter I just received. Another one - from the same company. I think that eventually, they will just hire me. It is the problem with having education with no experience.

So, somebody lend me a quarter so I can play something on the juke box!

Just got back from the arboretum - rain's started.

I bought the book second hand in Glastonbury on Monday - I intend to work with it, but slowly as Wendy says. If you really want to explore, and face stuff, I'm getting the feeling it would be very worthwhile, but right at the beginning it talks about help, and when to seek it, and how to know when you're in need.

No sign of the punctured girlie? Think it might be tme to text her and check she's okay...

Jes is fine - the work started at 10 this morning (it's 6 in the evening here now) so been finished some hours. She's spent the day with friends, and is now drinking wine and having fun

She says it's very cute!

I've got David Essex on my jukebox "We're gonna make you a star"
1973 I think - oh that dates me LOL
