Anyway, I must leave these halls of merriment and alphabetical lists - I got up at some truly horrid time this morning (began with a 6, and I am NOT a moring person) in order to ride on a welsh steam train, in torrential welsh rain.

Let me tell you, once you've seen one (steam train that is) I think you've seen 'em all - but my OH delights in them, so I take my knitting, and go wherever he does.
Finished a sock today!

But I am worn out, so the pillow beckons.

Yira - I can see what you mean about putting the 'The' at the end - but then what about the foreign ones? I've got "I" and "Il" too - I'm going to have to stick to how it is - too many do-dahs to handle

Night PW - sleep the sleep of the virtuous - rising early to ride a steam train counts as a truly virtuous act, I think
