Hello all, my power is back on and seems to have gotten past the flickering in and out stage...

But I have a ferocious headache that so far, motrin hasn't helped...so I probably won't be on for long

Just didn't want anyone to worry and all

I'm glad the power's back on!!! Sorry about the headache. I hope I didn't give it to you. That was my excuse for calling in to work "sick" today.

((((Yira)))) - why a headache? Any known reason? Our weather is very "heavy" and that usually gives himself a headache.

Glad you have power - hate it when the electricity goes off. Feels so isolated and cut off. And the cooking isn't easy. We have a couple of little camping stoves just in case, and some candles, but even so - I'd rather not have to use them.

That might be it. We've been having cool stuff, but then the hot & humid has returned with a vengeance for today. All those changes can cause issues.

Yes - we had a couple of lovely cool nights; sleeping was wonderful! So much better than when it's all hot and sticky. Hate it like that. The worst is on a Friday or Saturday night when we have to close our bedroom window because the dogs keep barking when they hear folks walking up and down the road. And those two nights peeps are out late partying, and they come home at all hours. Sometimes we forget and the wake-up from two dogs giving it rocks beside you on the bed is horrendous
