I get the feeling that she might have feelings for you, because of all the cups. She finds it hard to share that kind of stuff though, so it may be emotionally crazy for her to get up the courage.

What they said might have been hurtful, but at the time they believed it was the right thing to do, I have feeling they do these things all the time due to inexperience, they don't think the other persons feelings. Sure enough they didn't mean to hurt you.

I'd say letting go is the best thing to do, instead of just looking to the future for what might happen. There's a lack of good "give and take" between you two, and it seems like you give more than she does.
