Despite having two machines (a new mini and an old Singer... black and silver with a hand wheel!) I can't use either. I couldn't figure out the tension of the bottom thread, and now I can't even remember how to thread either of them. So my basic and wonky bag was done by hand. Exhausting! Inside is my RWS deck wrapped in a black reading cloth and there's also a small sealed pouch in there to match the bag, which contains some scraps of cloth with essential oils on (sage and lavender). It may not be very good, but I feel like a proud parent!

Next up is a 3-fold wrap for the Wildwood <gulp> which could take a while...

That's beautiful! Lovely fabric and I love the ribbon tie. Your stitches look small and neat to me. I actually really like the look of hand stitching, myself.

Laura, I love that idea for using the aloe vera gel. I've got a lot of that; I'll give it a go on Monday for when I'm getting ready to go to work.

They are right. Totally. The lure is irresistable in the end..... Mind you, I've finally ended up with the decks I like and now I only get a new one now and again, but back along I spent fortunes in the Trading forum
