Oh wow, this *is* a friendly pub! Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'll stand you all a round of drinks! Virtual drinks with my virtual money, that is...! cardlady... I remember someone at Home Ec class sewing into their finger  Despite having two machines (a new mini and an old Singer... black and silver with a hand wheel!) I can't use either. I couldn't figure out the tension of the bottom thread, and now I can't even remember how to thread either of them. So my basic and wonky bag was done by hand. Exhausting! Does anyone else get finger ache from holding the fabric? Here's a linky to it on photobucket. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...0/IMAG0103.jpg Inside is my RWS deck wrapped in a black reading cloth and there's also a small sealed pouch in there to match the bag, which contains some scraps of cloth with essential oils on (sage and lavender). It may not be very good, but I feel like a proud parent! Next up is a 3-fold wrap for the Wildwood <gulp> which could take a while... Does this pub do food, by the way? I'm starving! |
