![]() Although I am not one to think to much about what something is "meant to" represent. I prefer to just look at it and feel what it means to me. I don't care what the creator was trying to portray. I just care what I see in it. But that is me, the way I read. And of course not all World (or Universe) cards will include those 4 figures anyway. But that is just my beliefs on life, not saying you have to adopt them or anything. But my belief is that nothing can end unless something better is meant to come from it. Also I started reading that way as i started with the Haindl Tarot and that idea was incorporated into the image for Death and it was in the book I learnt from. But still it is in line with my belief system. So for me, no. Death cannot means something good ending so taht something negative can come. But feel free to use the card that way if it suits your needs. We are all free to adapt and a lot of this has to do with your views on life and how it works. Quote:
Oh and me too The Hanged Man can also be about seeing things from a new persective for me. Either acceptance of things exactly as they are or about seeing things in new ways. Both apply for me. And most of all, you're welcome. ![]() Babs __________________ "Although science stops at the borders of logic, nature does not. It blossoms even where no theories have as yet penetrated." C.G. Like say for example in the case of King and Queen of Swords.. (RWS) The Queen has her sword straight with just one bird above her which implies wisdom regarding the choice she would make Whereas the King has his sword tilted with two birds above him which in turn indicates power of judgement with two choices at hand. This was what I exactly meant by having symbols to possibly denote something. Not that only these symbols are correct!! Gradually I too have become accepting of the fact that Tarot is not written in stone. Most of the experiences are actually very personal and for which you just cant give an explanation ![]() That said I just loved your explanations...Thanks |
