Loved the post and watching Eurovision with Shelley. Glad I'm not the only fan of this slightly crazy song contest. She picked the winner too! |

Great adventures for Shelley!! I can't believe I grew up relatively close to Castle Frankenstein and never went there. Need to remedy that some day. Fell in love with Sam's playhouse - I had one just like, only it wasn't painted so prettily! We called it the Hotze (short for Hotzenplotz house, Hotzenplotz being a robber from a famous children's book: http://www.amazon.de/The-Robber-Hotz.../dp/3522176103). How cool Shelley got to watch ESC. We were at my brother's birthday gathering so had to miss it this year. Btw, WE have a big flatscreen TV (can't stand watching stuff on monitors) and Chipsfrisch Peperoni are my favourite chips, so maybe we could watch it at our place next year (there is the issue of the 800 km distance though...).

![]() I'm sure they'll have beaming technology ready by then. Right? Right? Oh, and the journal thread is up-to-date now! Check out Shelley at the beach, on the rocks, and in bellydancing class! |

I've just been catching up with the journal, and i'm so excited that Shelley is a Eurovision fan. I love watching eurovision, because it is so silly, and I don't know anyone else who does. Shelley was so clever to pick the winner. |

It's so nice that Shelley gets to see Hamburg! I'd very much like to see Shelley in person, but I'm still in Sweden at the moment.I've been watching her travel progress for a while and I think the whole project is really awesome. Shelley (and all of us, too ) gets to see so many different places and ways how people lead their lifes!

Some not-all-too exciting days for Shelley, ending in an explosion of color. On the journal thread.

I have to admit that I wasn't able to make good on my promise to send Shelley off to Wendywu today because I badly overslept (that's me and the snooze button and using only one alarm clock for you!) and therefore didn't make it to the post office before they closed for the weekend. This means I'll only be able to send her off on Monday. To make up for that, I took her on another adventure today, pictures and descriptions of which can be found on the journal thread. They include another round of geocaching (*waving to Aulruna*), a labyrinth, and a landscape of muffins. |

Good as it suits me for her to run late
