Mariasove playing cards
I have been given a deck of Mariasove Hracie Karty dvojhlave, Published by Ludvick Machala.. they are based upon William Tell, 32 cards... No 6 of bells "Weli" They are very similar to this deck (first one you see on the left) .. without the writing on the cards and without the 6 of bells http://a_pollett.tripod.com/cards16.htm and not published by piatnik. But Machala. what i want to know.. is! what are each suit called? I am assuming Bells and Hearts . then i have a leaf shape for another.. and acorns for another suit.. are they just called leaves and acorns? It has 3 male court cards.. and 1 female.. I am assuming the female be the queen.. and after reading the site i posted; i have established The man on the horse is the King and not Knight. what one is the knight and what one the page? Or do they have different roles assigned to them? They all do look like the same male, just at different stages in his life. Its an interesting little card set , It has small pictures on each numbered card.. cept.. 10 and 9 of leaves and acorns.. they are the only two that dont have any images other than the suit.. the rest have churchs, little family groups, castles , fences ( with a flag, I cant make out the flag) , farm lands, a house in the wilderness. 8 of hearts has a man on a gondola. Has anyone got this little set and do you know what is all represents? I doubt its overly too old or a divination deck.. But i dont know much about it at all.. can anyone point me in the right direction with it? Here is all i have found out so far.. it has this logo on the box.. the logo that is on the top left hand corner of this page. On the 7 of bells it has a Pegasus with the normal suit symbols. and the word KOLIN.. The man who gave me these is from Czech Republic, So i am assuming it is Kolin 'the place'. I am assuming this deck was commissioned out to RUDH International.. to make this deck and distributed by Ludvik Machala.. for who I dont know.. maybe an airline? and they distributed this playing card deck for amusment for its passengers.. Wild guess at that scenario..but feasable. Carl who gave them to me cannot remember where he got them or when.. lots of assuming and guess work, it would be nice to have some info on them~ Any help Please?
