I have never bitten my nails but I remember convincing my mum in law to stop, and she managed it after 50 years of biting. I was so proud of her for that!

i bit my nails almost all my life, and attempted lots of times to stop, but only managed it after 46 years. this was after my mum died, and after i got burgled, so a superhuman effort really.
i hate having long nails, and keep them filed short.

my tick bite from yesterday is driving me crazy. it bit me on my collar bone, and now i'm all swollen and red about six inches around the bite. didn't help with the not sleeping at least my bones are ok-ish.
it's been raining heavily all night, so i think i'll be staying inside today.
