How are ya? I've missed you.

I want to try these. Does anyone here have a tried and true recipe?
Hey lady. Figured I'd stay away til I can be sociable. Dunno if I'm really there yet, but I had to pop in when I saw about DD today.

Dunno 'bout them boiled peanuts either.
Might have had and didn't like. Was a big peanut fan as a kid, but now, not so much.

Many thanks for your touch, and everyone goes through quiet times.

okokok, not me, I just get bitchier. We just worry. Ya know how we are. We LOVE ya!

It seems the boiled peanuts is a Love em/ Hate em kinda thing. I know a co-worker tried to make them and had a hard time getting the raw peanuts. I was on the "outs" when she did this, so I didn't get to try them. LOL

Hi, you! Yeah, the schedule is, as we used to say in da Bronx, From Hunger. As in, it will leave me wanting.

Just have to rely on the laziness of my coworkers. Or the busy-ness of them. I gained the 30th because someone needed to go out of town. So maybe more folk will be needing time. Oh, someone owes me for a day of pet-checking in on, and I'm watching over them this week too.

So thats soemthing.

Happily we got the brakes fixed and tires changed today for $360. We were able to do most of it on our credit card and didn't have to resort to calling mom for the balance.

But I know I can call on her to beg for aid if necessary, but I've got two paychecks coming these next two weeks, so if I need help it'll be in 3 weeks when I'm not getting any checks - or virtually none.

Well, I hope enough comes along to tide you over, and get you through!

I've got to re-open my underemployment claim this week. I'll only have 20 hours(scheduled), but will appreciate the time at home.

I have never had a peanut that was boiled. I have no idea what they even look like are how they should taste.

I do like peanuts generally....

It really sucks for those of you WANTing work, needing work, WILLing to work...and nada.

OK...I am DONE! I canNOT find a roast turkey anywhere I've looked...says she surrounded by 16 decks.

Emmsma, there's a new game going on. Right now, Laura's challenge is to find a card with a roast turkey on it. Once I find a card with that image, I use that same card and pick another image from it for others to search out.

It's here... http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread...=167743&page=2

And I see our Cardlady DID it!!! (((cardlady)))

This game is driving me NUTS!

Oh, and thanks for the boiled peanut recipe, Laura. If I can find the raw peanuts, I might try it.

Didn't know there was such a thing as underemployment that could be claimed. Good luck to you on that. I had about 27 hours on the last check - for a 2 week period. and will have just the 7 on the next check.

Really counting on holiday pay, but not sure about that either.

I'm making a list of chores for my time at home. Maybe if I'm under-employed enough, I'll get into a routine of actually taking care of my home during this winter.

Thinking if I get the December schedule and find I'm not really on it, I'll head back over to the Pet Sense store and reapply. If they do well and see I'm persistent, maybe they will take me on.

Sorry if there are typos - trying to catch them - had a peach daquiri and over spiked it. Now having a beer. Sessions Black Lager. I recommend it highly.

Oh, I saw the new dominoes game. *I've been lurking*

I'm not really a gaming person. That Sh*t frustrates the heck out of me.

Glad you-all seem to be having fun with it.

Maybe if I lived alone and could actually spread all those decks out around me. I am missing some basics though, I think.

It's more of a fresh legume flavor. The first time we tried them, we looked at each other and said "These are weird." Then we ate a few more, and a few more... Oh, and they're boiled in the shell, in salted water (and with spices if that's how you roll) and then you peel them before you eat them.

Now there's another Southern peanut snack -- fried peanuts in the shell. You can eat the shell with those. They're very greasy though. Greasy, salty... weird... but good

The only thing that saved my butt was that I had used this card in the Identify this Deck game.

I don't actually get out cards unless I'm forced too. Most of the time I use the online scan sites. And of course, I spend a lot of my leisure time just clicking through them.
