listen you two... I grew up in the Midwest... I know ALL ABOUT s-n-o-w, s-u-b-z-e-r-o (freeze your whatevers off) temps... all of it! However, I am a winter wimp!!!!! Always have been... so I got smart and moved myself to a place where I don't bitch about the cold weather 9 mos a year...fa la, la, la!!!

And on that cherry note, I'm off to the flea market! Later snot otters!

G'Morning cardlady! That's a good long rest!
I'm just not the type that can lay in bed for 12 hours. 7-8 is just about my limit. Unless I'm really sick, then it's 2-3 hours up, 2-3 hours down, repeat.

I don't know..... I don't think I could do that. There is just something about the distinct 4 seasons that I would miss. I want to hit the lottery so that I can just live in a huge motorhome, and become a snowbird when I've had enough of the white stuff!

I was achy from the shopping trip for DD's Secret Santa gift. Also had to grab a few staples for lunches, so I "hobbled" the central 1/3 of Walmart. (She did the running to the outskirts & back to the cart.) I'm glad it turned out to be just soreness because I don't want to add sick to my holidays.

. . . I think the longest I've ever been in a Walmart was 3 hours. We did toy, card & book browsing before the groceries.
