Thank you. Okay. Um— 1) WOW! Newborns are a lot of work! ![]() (mine insists on being held 100% of the time) Lesser revelations: 2) I have re-done the layout of the cards to make the printer happy (note to self: next time, plan ahead a little) and 3) I just drew the back of the card which I am at this very moment posting on my otherwise not-currently-so-active blog <http://barefootfool.com/verso-tarot-of-the-absurd/> (I would LOVE to be able to touch-type one-handed and sit for more than five minutes at a time )and4) Uh— there was something else— oh— I'm waiting for the printer. They have clients who are pushier than I am in terms of deadlines. 5) Great admiration for people who have a (seemingly) easier time making seemingly simple decisions of layout & card stock & color (there are an awful lot of colors of black out there) & packaging. 6) Love for anyone patiently waiting for me to complete this. Thank you! Last edited by Barefoot Fool; 05-05-2012 at 13:23. Reason: edited to provide link to image |

BTW, I'm very happy you asked. I have this fear that I as I take a break from working on my blog & spending much/ any time thinking about this project, everyone will forget about it... |

This is an independently published deck. There is no publisher. I decided not to look. As I am still waiting for the printer to fit me into their schedule, I drew a picture of yet another card. But wait— doesn't a tarot deck have only 78 cards? Yeah, yeah. However, some people draw decks and put in two versions of one card or another either because they can't make up their mind or because one picture says 1000 words but two pictures say 2000 words and they have a lot to say on the subject. Then, maybe some people draw two versions of a card because really 80 cards is an easier printing layout than 78 cards so something must be done with the 2 extra cards. I don't know where I fall, but I drew a second moon. I posted it on my blog: http://barefootfool.com/the-two-moon...of-the-absurd/ Any feedback is most welcome. I am not going to publish a book right away because it is time consuming and I need to finish writing it. My hope is that people will actually purchase the deck and then maybe they will ask me questions about what the heck I was thinking about when I drew such-&-such (feel free to start) and this will help me write. Meanwhile I am trying to write about the cards on my blog. |

Well, I think there should be two moons in every tarot...one for regular moon days and then one for the blue moon, which, of course, is very special. It's a great card! Love it!

I have GOT to have this deck, if for no other reason than the Strength card.
