Hi Kaleaana ![]() You know, I was so sure I wanted the Mary-El - and now I'm not so sure. There are some terrific pieces of artwork there, but I'm not sure if I would be keen to read with it, and some of the images don't 'speak' to me of their intended meaning. Oh how sad I am! __________________ Deep in the green; call loudly in the woods if you want me! |

Have you got yours then? I pre-ordered from Amazon but I'm not sure when it will be delivered. I've always liked the look of it, and since I buy so few decks these days I thought I would get this one. I don't know if I'll read with it, keep it, push it on the train or what until I see it and handle it. __________________ When I was a child/I caught a fleeting glimpse/Out of the corner of my eye La ilaha illa Allah |

I'm not bad thanks ![]() No I haven't got in hand I admit, (only the majors and aces only deck) but I've looked at every image on Mary's website http://www.mary-el.com/ I'm really not sure. I've already spent March's pocket money on a family history certificate and a deck from someone (all done via credit card so I will pay in March when the real money is in hand) so I would be spending all of Aprils money on it if I bought it. But it's not the only thing on my wishlist, and I might prefer something else, you know? And I can't afford to buy loads I don't like any more, I really feel I have to know they have something for me. __________________ Deep in the green; call loudly in the woods if you want me! I don't think I felt any of the other cards were unfamiliar. I know the deck has an otherworldly feel to it, I just knew there hadn't been that ghastly element to it. Not sure how I will work-around that card. Hi Kaleanna! Glad the hubby seems to be feeling a bit better. Looking forward to seeing the new Monsterini. Was trying out a few of Emm's DS games. I am not a gaming person, or the games I am trying are really lousy ones. ![]() Still haven't gotten to my tarot time for today. But there is a turkey breast in the oven.

I want to take this diminutive use moment and just say that the Tarot of the III Millennium is freaking awesome! I was putting the various cards together into pictures - really cool. The aces all fit together to show a dead body. The circuits on each card have me intriqued and I shall need a magnifier to see if they have significance to the card. Thank you Oink! |

I could read with that! Although whether I ever will is another matter. But I could. The cards resonate. There are a few I am unsure of, but I will spend a while thinking about them when they get here, and see what wells up. I will be limiting myself very much this year for decks but I think this one may well be staying here. __________________ When I was a child/I caught a fleeting glimpse/Out of the corner of my eye La ilaha illa Allah |

I guess I could read with it - I just don't personally find the images pleasant, and I'm not sure I want it in the way I thought I would. That makes me sound like I only read with 'pretty' decks, I don't think that's true, but this one disturbs me. Trying to put my finger on the why of it........ no, can't find the words/thoughts to express right now __________________ Deep in the green; call loudly in the woods if you want me! |

I got mail from the UK and Italy today! Flaxen isn't online right now, but I got the Archeon (my Main Trade) And the one from Italy was an Alida order. Somehow, a Gill found its way into the listing. *cue angels singing* |

I know what you mean; I have had decks where the images have for some reason disturbed me and I've known the deck isn't for me. The Bosch was one; and yet I think the artwork as artwork is very clever. It's just not a deck I cared to keep because for me, something is subtly "off" about it. I was sad about that, because I had thought I'd really like it. __________________ When I was a child/I caught a fleeting glimpse/Out of the corner of my eye La ilaha illa Allah |
