Yes, tricky. BTW, sometimes I pull a base card which is weird, like it's located in the beginning of the spread while I'm at the end of the month and in reality it doesn't prove working. BUt sometimes it does. I blame myself for not focusing well enough.

see i would see the base as not being connected to the GT, and therefore it doesnt matter where its located, its simply to say which area of life it links to. so base card of anchor could be work related, does it have anymore usage after that.....i think it just complicates matters. if your going to link it to the GT then perhaps your going to have ot review your timing method to be more flexible, or simply use the base card differently .

if your main card works for you, perhaps working with the base card differently will work

About the GT , I might not have mentioned that its a GT for whole April, general, not for renovation only and you see several things can be represented by one card in this spread. Stars and Sun are blocked you are reminding me of my Saturn/Sun opposition going on right now lol.

I don,t know anything about astrology, but i do believe that the way the GT is layed out is connected with the things You are able to be aware of.
To some extend i really believe the GT bring a large personal story to it. "higher source" knows how you read the cards in what way, so i think it will adress personal information on a different level, then it would bring to me, in a different way.

I colour the cards in the way as i see them at this moment...Like i said for me is any renovation a "cross to bear" on many levels. . For one i have a very low tollerance for sound, because of a 'burn-out' i 've had
I could imangine to get about the same kind of cards even when eventually the renovation would be a major success in the end, for me.

There is something new that I’m investigating, learning on my own, with help of authorities. A new start on my own, investigating, watching other, that involves psychic/esoteric skills. (Cut and 1st three cards).

I will spend a lot of time in the next four weeks building foundations in the psychic realm (4 corners).

Over the next 4 weeks, there will be very little beyond my control pressing down upon me. Rather, I will be more in control or feel more able to deal with what's happening. I'll feel better about things, in other words. I am looking forward and not back during the next 4 weeks. That I will be enjoying a lot of forward momentum, or at the very least that I am feeling very ready within myself for moving forward rather than hanging back. (Based on position of Lady in top left of board.)

The Lady card is the House of Clover. This suggests to me that the next 4 weeks will be happy ones during which I will enjoy good moods and positivity. The overall tone is a good one. Even if it is implied to be only temporary. (Well, you can't laugh all the time, can you?)

A bookish or introverted friend who is down on his/her luck (possibly money worries) awaits an important message that doesn't come. He/she gives me a surprise invitation that leads to a work-related success. This success may come through a female senior member of staff in the form of an email or phone call (destiny cards).

Right now feeling down or fuzzy-headed (Cloud) and also plagued by repetitive thoughts about trouble (Whip) with an authority figure (Tower). I know this has to do with work. This issue does still bother me, but since all the cards are below me, I take it as a sign that in these next 4 weeks, I will be in better control of my responses to it or find a better way to deal with it. (Vertical line of Lady, second column).

In the future, a positive message, possibly brought by a man, but that is delayed until quite late. Like, right before hope seems lost. I have no idea what this may refer to. (Row right of Lady).

A female rival's position of power is put at risk by the bold actions of a younger woman, or an inferior. OR Troubles or temptations are cut through with a fresh new power. That's really vague. (Diagonal lines).

Other impressions:
Niggling, repetitive thoughts about money
A decision about socializing with work colleagues
A change involving a powerful female at work; the change brings more stability but also lots of nervous chatter and anxiety.
House guests.
The Key is in the House of Birds. The Key seems to be an answer to a problem with a female, and its being in the House of Birds suggests chatter is key. Perhaps it means, to stay quiet.
Husband in House of Bear, with Ring beside it. Strong commitment, support from that source.
Bear in House of Lady. Possible confirmation of deep connection with Husband. Also suggests strength on my part.
Lady in House of Clover--despite all these cards showing decisions and doubts around me, I don't think they will have a strong effect on me personally, but I will remain upbeat.

Question: I notice that while I tried to work every card in the chain into my reading, you both used more general sentences. Am I trying to too hard? Should I be more general?

By the way, Ronia, I'm married for 8 years, hope no one I know starts courting me! LOL That could get awkward.

I think in the beginning you should focus on combining cards two by two or three. The general sentences will coem with the time when you have the meanings in your head and the rows and columns start looking like stories.

The Dog may be your husband then and it looks very nice between you, a renewal of a kind.

OK, but didn't we already discuss a reunion? And we told you we didn't see such a thing and you were quite emotional about us not seeing what you saw...
