You don't have to worry about the Deviant Moon bringing you or anyone else negative vibrations. Plus, the creator of the deck is a wonderful and nice person. I feel that when cards in a decks portray vampires, that doesn't mean there is an existence of them. The meaning for me could be simply that the cards to could read that a person (or even object) is draining the life from you. And instead of a demon, the card could mean you have a temptation, or even something to hide (like what demon's are lurking in your closet?) sort of thing. I love the Deviant Moon. It flows so well. I tend to feel it is upbeat and sarcastic in a truthful way. __________________ Breeders don't give shelter dogs a chance to live. |

It is kind of tough to interpret, I am still learning but it is fun and I love how beautiful the aces are. The blue pentacle is most certainly a novel idea. Amazing work by Mr. Valenza! Can't wait for that companion book to be out.

And if you want a sexy, titillating vampire deck that will absolutely warm your cockles every time you use it, try the Ian Daniels Tarot of Vampyres. I have old, rusty cockles but they get warm every time. ![]() (Psst!! Gregory!! What are cockles anyway?) __________________ Check out the A. Nonny Mouse Thread! I use my deviant moon deck a lot. I use it mainly for myself but I have used it for a couple of other friends(not just sitters but friends) who actually think it's rather cool - not like the normal decks they see. It is a bit quriky and weird but every card that turns up in a spread is looked at. I don't know how to specify that enough....people LOOK at the cards because they are not what they expect. So when you are interpreting the cards for them they see it more. I have found that my deck is unusually attracted to water. I take my cards with me most places and they normally are alright but there have been a few circumstances where I've been caught in the weirdest storms and my cards have gotten wet! One night I got home from a music festival and the weather was absolutely amazing and unseasonal! We had to lie out all of the cards on towels on the floor overnight. Luckily they did dry but I had to trim the white borders off. They now have a very antique look to them - suits the artwork I think. Luckily I have a back up copy I do love my Deviant Moon - it is actually not a scary deck but it doesn't sugar coat meanings either.
