Favole Tarot Suits

Hello
I have the Favole deck and am not entirely sure which suit is which! Like the booklet that came with it is just generic - cups, wands, swords, and pentacles. But the deck suits are butterflies, masks, crosses, and roses!!!

Does anyone want to offer what they think the suits correspond to?
I was thinking:
Butterflies - wands (cause they move around and are active)
Masks - cups - to hide the emotions that sit beneath
Croses - pentacles - earth - crosses are found both on graves and in churches where they are elaborate and decorated in jewel, or carved from wood
Roses - swords - the sharp thorns like a swords edge that can cause worry, struggle, even though they are beautiful

Welcome to Aeclectic :).

I have a feeling that this has been discussed before but I can't find the relevant thread.. I think the general consensus was that you can assign any suit to any of the symbols in the deck - yours look fine to me :).
