Just finishing up a glass of wine and I've pretty much finished my write up for the reading circle

How are you? I kinda sorta just skimmed and really didn't read so I'm not caught up. I was just scrolling...LOL

I'm good. I'm feeling better. The boys are too. We are all coughing still and I suppose that will be going on for awhile.

I missed that day of work on Monday due to snow, so I'm only working one day this week. Tomorrow. Thought I was on for Saturday, but that was last week.

SO I've cleaned the bathroom and am doing laundry.

Wine sounds good. I'm out of beer and soda. WOnder whats left for drinking.

Yeah, mine is not an active or exciting life, these days. I ran out of undies when I was sick. I don't like waiting that long. And i wasn't actually out - there was a ginormous pile of cleanies. I just hadn't gotten around to folding and putting away, so there was nothing in the drawer.

You fold your undies??? GAWDS, I really AM a heathen!!

only sorta. The clean clothes are in a mixed pile. Gotta fold and put away to find the undies and socks.

I also don't sort. I wash together, whatever I grab out of the laundry basket. I try not to put bras in with anythign I think the little hooks will damage.

If I think of it. Anything that can't stand up to my normal washing practices is not welcome in my home.

That's exactly how I wash...but then I don't have bras, ok, well one but I never wear it...LOL

Whose life IS exciting? I find when exciting things happen, it takes a while to recover from them.


So you know how in malls, there are those little store-stands out in the middle, that sell stuff like cell phones or freeze-dried ice cream in pellet form or e-cigarettes or whatever?

After my haircut, I wanted to look at Bath and Bodyworks for a shower brush, but on my way there a woman grabbed me from one of those little stands. Hers was selling Dead Sea beauty products. I usually say "No thanks!" with a smile and walk on, but she hooked me by saying "Nobody understands my accent," and looking woebegone (I don't know where she was from, but not the U.S.) So I stopped and listened to her little spiel. She buffed one of my nails and then tried to sell me a kit of buffer, lotion, etc. for $35 -- then "just for me" was going to knock it down to $25, even though that would "come out of her paycheck".

I was actually interested in the nail buffer thing but she said by itself it would cost $25, and for that price, why not get the whole package? I started to smell a rat so I said I might come back later. With no intention of course (and I could tell she knew that )

Anyway. Here's the exact same nail buffer on Amazon for five bucks.
And the kit, the discount on which was "coming out of her paycheck" LOL

I have to hand it to her, those jobs must absolutely suck especially if you have a quota to sell, and she was pretty sweet and personable except for the guilt tripping. But I can get a nail buffer for about a dollar at the drug store.
