Hehehe  I have a semi-serious question --- if you get a gift for someone that's an antique, and it's not mint condition, is that still a good gift if it's still a desirable gift? For me ~ a resounding yes! I have an old typewriter with a missing round key, but I had to have it. The guy I offered to buy it from looked at me like I was crazy.  They were going to throw it out before their garage sale the next day.
