Lil one and I are going outside to blow some bubbles before it gets too hot. Then when we come back in, I gotta get the adoption by auction ready to go on my fb fanpage for the baby fairy monsterini.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Yes, I've had to divide my orders from Zazzle to stay "in budget" while qualifying for the best discounted price. After an order, they usually send a card or email with codes. At first, I just ordered 36 to play with as a Lenormand deck. Then I started filling out by themes:
flower
animal
etc

This order was the horizontal/landscape orientation.

I love the idea of making your own lenormand deck with these postcard, how clever! I just said yesterday that I won't buy any new deck anytime soon, I have feeling that I may will cheat... or am I able to handle my impatience? hmmm good question! Love your Bootstrap Betsy!

Tarot Fairy, what deck will you cheat for, and buy?

I don't get paid again til the 4th, so I won't be buying anything for a few weeks. By the time that check comes we will be very much in need, so there won't be anything left for decks.

This doesn't Usually stop me but I've been very generous with myself this month already.

Time to roll. I WILL come back to see what you want to get.

They do have a strong odor when they are freshly printed - but, oh so beautiful!
Congrats on them arriving cardlady. I bet they are lovely. The signed one you sent to me is framed and sits by my puter !

Hi all

Happy payday, Wendywu!

Grats on your bike, Yirabeth! I prefer not to work out around random people too - I am not at my most attractive during a workout, especially cardio. I turn bright reddish purple and sweat a lot. People think I might be about to die. It's one of the many reasons I prefer early-morning workouts...

This weekend was certainly filled with activity. Teavious and I haven't yet been successful at the tarot wallets. It took us a while to get the sewing machines set up, then we managed to measure incorrectly and thus cut our fabric the wrong size. By the time we realized that we decided to call it a day. Not giving up though!

Saturday we went to Home Depot. We got a few more plants, a lot of pots, and a lot of soil. It took us quite a while there, and by the time we got that stuff unloaded onto my porch it was time for a quick shower, then "Tarot Talk" at our local OTO Oasis. This was the first time they had this particular class, and when I had looked at the calendar a few days ago it just said "2:30pm". We assumed (danger!) that this would be a 1-1.5 hr thing and then we'd go home and actually plant all our stuff, but then at the 1.5 hr mark they said, "OK guys, 10 minute break!". I checked the calendar from my cell phone at that point, and saw that they had amended it to say 2:30-6:30pm. Oh dear! After a brief freak-out, we decided to use the break to approach the leader, apologize profusely for not (re-)checking the calendar, and explain that we'd have to excuse ourselves at 4:30pm so that we could finish up our planting before dark.

Planting was a great success! All we have left is doing the hanging baskets, and that's only because we didn't like the ones they had at Home Depot. They didn't seem sturdy enough to me to withstand our crazy winds... We're going to look after work at Ace and another local nursery. After that, I can clean up the porch and enjoy. I'll probably post a pic later, because I think it will look really nice when I'm finished.

After planting, I went over to Teavious's house. I needed to take her beer over there, but decided to walk anyway because it was a beautiful day and a really short walk. Apparently strolling around with beer makes you look like a party person, because en route one of their neighbors (who I hadn't met) came running out of the house to invite me to a big rave type party they were throwing later that night. We ended up going, and it was a good time, but damn. I'm in my thirties - next time I'm gonna stay up 'til 5am I'm gonna need a nap first! Yesterday was a lot more low-key: worked around the house a little and hung out with friends.

I'm trying to keep myself busy because I'm struggling a lot with this whole combo death-breakup thing. I'm very, very sad, and it's hard to concentrate on much of anything. My stomach is in knots and I can't eat. I know that it will get better, but in this moment it's hard to feel that potential. I'm thinking about writing a letter to my ex about all my feelings. I don't think I'll send it, but I think it would help me to get those feelings out, acknowledge them, and maybe then I will feel less imprisoned by them.

(((Oink))) I write (and then destroy) often!
The method of destruction alters with the mood & subject matter.

Well I feel very virtuous and healthy now I only ended up riding for 30 minutes because the MAIN thing I learned is that seat needs more PADDING... My butt hurts. LOL But it was a good half hour, I kept up a good pace and worked up a bit of a sweat and my legs felt nicely tired without being complete noodle-legs after. Maybe I'm not in quite as bad a shape as I thought? hehe Except my BUTT of course...

But I'm gonna keep on. Maybe 30 min at a time will make me more used to the seat (because there IS a seat pad on it...) or maybe I need a new one. We'll see how that goes.

(((((Oink))))) Do yourself a favor -- don't send the letter unless you can get through 7 days of never feeling like sending it might be a mistake... I sent mine and regretted it. (Ex-bf left me 2 yrs ago on May 8...we were supposed to have been married last summer...so truly I do understand what you're going through right now.)

I find that I actually get sorer on a super-cushioned seat, but I do LOVE my neoprene seat cover. I got it for triathlons (since you emerge dripping from a lake and immediately hop on a bike with a wet butt), but the neoprene provides just enough extra cushion for comfort that I got one for my road bike too...

Good job! A half hour on an exercise bike can be pretty killer - it's not the same as riding outside because you never get to coast!

Thank you for this, Yira, and thank you too CL. That's good advice. I'm struck by how much you've gone through in that time, and how much you've achieved. The credit is all yours, and though I know there have been some very difficult struggles for you, you obviously didn't need him around - you've really come into your own.
