Celtic...sounds like you're becoming smitten too! I am VERY drawn to Laboradorite and now to opalite...both connect me psychically in different ways...I actually just recieved a message from a spirit guide about the angel...giving me her name and her connection to me! Bhavana, the ring is just gorgeous...looks like its from the 30s or 40s...very Art nouveau/Deco! The part of the ring that you described is called the under-gallery and is made for the pleasure of the owner, who will see it when the ring is removed! __________________ "To Be for Me is Not to Be, Not to See, to See..." I found the original angel at a rock and mineral show locally...but I loved her so much, I didn't want to leave her on my altar...so I bought a slightly larger one on eBay...now...I cannot be without her (see...lust) and so I've purchased a 3rd...also from eBay and it's even larger...she's going on my altar...the 2nd one at my bedside, the 3rd in my purse!!! __________________ "To Be for Me is Not to Be, Not to See, to See..." Rarely...but yes! I have 3 rings from the same designer purchased here with VERY elaborate under galleries! They're VERY bold, huge rings tho...not as delicate as yours!!! VERY special...enjoy it! __________________ "To Be for Me is Not to Be, Not to See, to See..." NJTarot |

well, I c. my ex boss at the New Age shop in VT. Asked her to look out for a nice opalite piece for me, and gave her the price I was looking at. Once a month she meets up with her crystal suppliers, so she'll pick out a good piece for me. She did pick out a nice moldavite for me when I worked there. Now, all I have to do is wait.....patiently..........

I have a Ganesha pendent that is made of opalite. I think it is very pretty and I think I am calmer when I wear it. Seeing this thread the other day made me think about the fact that I never seem to see any opalite pieces at my local thrift store though. Well, wouldn't you know that I spotted two bracelets that I think have opalite in them today! And they were half off of the marked price too so I snapped them up. __________________ "No, I think I'll just go down and have some pudding and wait for it all to turn up...
