Hello, hello! The trick with the pigment pads is to take your time and use a gentle tap-rock motion. Your hand will find a rhythm once you get the feel of the pad. Don't stack them on top off each other right away. Have enough space to lay 4-6 out flat at a time. When you lay #4 or #6 down, move the first one into the pile. It should be dry enough by then. I haven't tried to heat set any yet because I don't have a large enough area to set out a dryer/blower too. |

Hope you have a good day, Emmsma ![]() Of the RWS decks, I like the PCS best, and Radiant second. Then, the Hoi Polloi... But I'm not using any of them to read with, at the moment I do wish I could get the PCS reprinted on different cardstock. I wonder if the colors would look right. I might try this, in the future...(from scans I haven't done yet but will have to lol)

I don't have any issues with this particular USG deck - it's the old version, so it doesn't have the slick plastic cards. I really get into all the esoterica, and I love black & white decks, so it seems like it'd be worth getting to know better. ![]() I know that a lot of people find the deck "creepy", but I've never understood why. I mean, I *like* creepy, and I can fully understand that sentiment in regards to a deck like the Deviant Moon where there's some fairly disturbing events going on in those pictures. But I don't see it in the Hermetic. Is it style of the art itself, or a "vibe" the deck gives off, or are there particular cards that have disturbing imagery, or??? |

I also have a tiny Universal Waite keychain deck coming. It was £1.50 on Amazon . I am nicking Freddie's daily draw method - I have a huge abalone shell on a stand and I plan on tipping the tiny cards into the shell. Then every day I shall have a lucky dip

I'm not quite sure on the whole creepy thing either...I tend to not like creepy, too. So a bit puzzling to me. But I just chalk it up to different strokes for different folks...hehe After all, if we all liked the same thing, there'd be only ONE tarot deck!

What does everyone have planned for today? I have to put in some job apps, go to the grocery store, check on a prescription that I hope will be ready today, finish getting caught up on dishes and clothes inbetween entertaining lil one. I don't think that I have any R decks __________________ What happens in the Trade Train Cafe stays in the Trade Train Cafe! Touch the strand, Sense the need, Offer the power, Feel it breed |

Plans - building the giant bird cage - easy. Getting the birds to go in it - less easy!
