And no, none of them know each other. One of them said today, and I seriously thought it was an April Fools joke. That'll teach her to wait a day before she does something like that

Yeah, I think if someone told me today that they were knocked up, I would suspect April Fools too.

I did try the salt thing. But I think I need to try again with it being wetter, because all I got was salt grains stuck on

And I think my thyroid might be acting up. Or I am starting to have serious fluctuations in another area. I have Grave's Disease. I am in remission, but it can always rear its ugly head. I am supposed to have semi-annual testing. Haven't had health insurance in a year... And I am on meds that require regular blood work - which also hasn't been done in a year.

I don't want to go in and do this because last time I got slapped with "pre existing condition" and a 12 month waiting period. Oh, and I can't afford it either.

This job thing seems like it's been going on for months. I hope it's resolved soon for you (and in your favor!) The testing thing sounds like a pain, but a necessary one....

R-T is telling me how much of a stinker she's been today. She actually convinced a friend that she broke her leg "falling off the balcony". She's on the 7th floor... and her building doesn't have balconies!

Two of them basically my age, one of them going into her late 20's. We also have a pregnant mare at the ranch. So there's estrogen ALL around.

I'm thinking of proposing to my 'Girlfriend' as a joke... is that mean?

The salt did stick with me a lot, so I just left it for a bit then came back with a credit card and scraped it off.

water out the nose... because I can picture my Grandma doing that ages ago. She called up and said she fell off the barn chasing Chickens.

They're a Dairy farm, they never owned any birds.

I hate April Fool's also..seems like a really mean thing to do to people you supposedly love, or at least care for LOL.

But then, I too had a bad experience with it, when I was in first grade. I've never forgiven the person that played the trick on me, nor ever decided April Fool's was a worthwhile 'event'.

I kind of miss it when the local newspaper would print joke articles on April 1. My favorite is still "metric time".

ex called me when I was working at Aldi to tell me Eie & Midkid were wrestling in the living room and one or both went through the picture window. I was running customers through the check-out line, and I'm sure my face just paled. It was when I asked which hospital that he spilled. I was SO mad, and he's NEVER done another. That was the last time, but of course, "I have no sense of humor...can't take a joke." Just typing about it makes me want to throttle him all over again.

Kinda like the Greenwood thread??? My first thought was, NO WAY, REALLY??? I wouldn't have glommed onto the joke had April fools day not been mentioned in the thread.
