I hope you have a lovely trip, Lute. I love train rides! I am wiped out and sore. My asthma is not good - but it was such a great day! Our first decent Spring day and I spent it digging in the dirt. What bliss! |

Home now. Had a fun day. Played a game I haven't tried in a while, called "Where will transit take me today?". That's when I take the first bus I see. I ended up on a long-trip cross-town bus that finally took me to a mall I don't visit very often. On the way, I discovered that this same bus drives right past Hubby and I's favorite Chinese Restaurant/Bakery. Ain't no bakery like a Chinese Bakery! ![]() Maybe I'll stop there later on in the week, post-payday. __________________ "My Clan is Ghost Cat [...] we do not seek conflict. Welcome home those that got home while I was fiddling around ![]() I have a conundrum. I am transplanting seedling AV's. The last of the tremendously HUGE batch of leaves I put down last fall... I have quite a few minis. We're talking, 2" in diameter FULLY GROWN. I don't really like tiny plants like that...they're kind of a pain in the butt. But, I feel guilty about tossing them..LOL Is it okay to toss them without ever seeing them flower just because I don't like such tiny plants??

They are REALLY TINY. But I'd be willing to send them to you, if you felt you could work with them! They'd be hard to trim, and if they got a sucker you'd need tweezers and a REALLY STEADY HAND to get the sucker out.. LOL Another thing to consider is minis require even more light than normally sized AV's. Also, they're VERY sensitive to being dry. A regular AV could bounce back from being a bit too dry for a day or two. These won't. Of course, reservoirs could help that! And you have some reservoirs. But you'd need tinier yarn than I sent you. (which I don't have -- I was gonna give them the yarn I have and too dang bad if it's not good enough LOL) Want some pictures? __________________ The most wasted of all days is one without laughter. ~e e cummings ~~~~~~~~ Give a person a fish and you feed him for a day.
