Hi, Cat* -- this sounds like a super-cool exchange, as I've been thinking about bibliomancy lately, but have never tried it. Please sign me up if you have room!

Thanks! I could, but I think I'll just go with the english language books I have... Might have to be by Nigel Slater or "Mastering the Art of French Cooking", who knows Most of my english books not in boxes seem to be cook books...

Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome! How nice to see so much interest in this!

Oh, I see. And here I go, thinking everyone will of course have shelves and shelves of books in English...
So, okay, if you don't want to read with one of your cookbooks, you get special permission by me to use your Kindle. (That said, I once got a great reading from a roadkill(!) cookbook. So don't underestimate the potential of this genre! )

Feel free to run the next round! I'm already curious to learn your method for selecting bits of text from a Kindle book for divination purposes.

Thanks for letting us know. As long as I know that people aren't left hanging by their exchange partners, I'm fairly generous about extending the deadline in cases like this.

No worries! And as proposed there would always be the possibility to translate a passage! I'll stick with a real book for this round

I might do that (even if not before mid June, too much work before...)! It involves dice, one of my other favorite toys!
