Your Favorite Lenormand?
I have recently become rather Lenormand obsessed, and wanting to acquire a few more of these beauties. I think I am really loving the fact that it's an oracle, with it's own system, and not unlike the tarot...many artists are creating their own interpretations. Which ones are your favorites? I am looking to buy another one, and would like to know which one...and why you like it! __________________ Out Of Body...Back in 5 Minutes |

My favorite has become the Lilac Twilight Lenormand- it is absolutely stunning! http://yarasvera.ru/modules/catalog/...php?ItemId=342 I also love Britta's Lenormand, which is beautifully done in pastels and has just gorgeous art. http://fortune-telling-lenormand.com...as-cards.phtml For a more traditional deck, I use my old, gilded French red owl with the poems, because it is so classy and the cards are buttery soft. http://www.lenormand.eu/lenormand-cards-red-owl.php And I cannot wait for the Mysteries of Old Castle to come out- a nice gothic lenormand to play with

Interesting that you should ask this just now. I was just comparing the Les Vieux Jours Lenormand (2nd ed.) and the Melissa Lenormand (2nd ed.) and trying to decide which would become my reading deck--both of these have more layers of meaning and images on the cards than other Lenormands. Still can't decide, will have to do some readings and compare! Lilac Twilight is very beautiful, but I have to agree with Penthasilia that the Britta is very nice, and if I was going mainstream (i.e. big publisher) Oracle Lenormand (LoScarabeo). Hope this helps! The Postmark. The Lilac is a close second. __________________ "Bad things are not the worst things that can happen to us. Nothing is the worst thing that can happen to us!" - Richard Bach |

I like the more traditional Lenormands, but with playing card images instead of verses. My favorite is Blue Owl. Dondorf is a close second. |

I love the Mystical Lenormand ( http://www.lenormand-museum.com/myst...ing-cards.html ). The Gypsy Lenormand ( http://www.lenormand-museum.com/witc...ing-cards.html ) is really nice as well. The Britta is quite beautiful, but you can only order to the link Penthasilia gave. If you want a more traditional Lenormand, there is the Pianik ( http://www.lenormand-museum.com/no-1...s-piatnik.html ) that has pretty colors, Iris Verlag too ( http://www.lenormand-museum.com/iris...ing-cards.html ) and the French Cartomancy by LS which is in fact a reproduction of the Dondorf ( http://www.lenormand-museum.com/leno...artomancy.html ). I agree, I'm looking forward to buy a copy in may. __________________ Being in love with the Tarot of Vampyres El Desdichado (by Nerval) Je suis le ténébreux, - le veuf, - l'inconsolé, Le Prince d'Aquitaine à la tour abolie: Ma seule étoile est morte, - et mon luth constellé Porte le soleil noir de la Mélancolie. I love the Mystical Lenormand too, perhaps that is just because it was the first lenormand I bought and the only one I owned for a little while. I am also rather fond of my newly aquired Lilac Twilight Lenormand
