i haz homework to do as well as hermits to scan and identify, i have to reorganise my decks, again,it's never ending, is it?

In the scan, the Radiant seems to show a network of lines drawn to indicate the colors, instead of a more 'painted' look. This isn't readily apparent on the original card, and to *me* indicates the Gift Pack tarot is a much better printing job. Still..it's really not noticeable on the actual card, like I said.

In terms of color, it seems halfway between the regular and the Radiant. I do like it..in person it doesn't seem as "crisp" as the others. But I think that's kind of a bonus in this case LOL

ETA - oh and yes, the Gift Pack cards are bigger than both the Yellow box and the Radiant.

Thank you for the comparison scans! I like that the Gift Pack preserves Pixie's signature. The Radiant doesn't -- I never noticed that before.

I have a purple-box small Thoth, and an OTO greenie. I love my greenie, but the small one is the one I reach for, oddly enough.

I wouldn't call the Rosetta a Thoth, no. It has to be Frieda Harris's art to be a Thoth. I'm going by the same logic that yira uses for RWS decks: if it's not Pixie's art, it's not a RWS.

hi stormy and laura, i've just been catching up over the end of the last thread, and got coffee now

i love that Jack calls flat rate boxes "deck boxes"

and laura is a slob virgo with an inner neatnik...i iz one of those virgos too!

to clean tea/coffee stains from mugs with bicarb soda, you put a spoonful of dry carb soda into the mug, then scrub the mug with a damp cloth or scrubby thing. it's the slight abrasive action that does the cleaning. it won't do a thing if you make a solution, that's not how it works (except when you add vinegar, which is a different thing altogether)
