Asked the Mystical Lenormand what's coming up next for me, no focus:

Anchor + Book + Clover + Owls + Ring

So here are my keywords for these cards (actually they're from andybc's blog):

Stability + Secrets + Luck + Telephone + Commitment

So here is the deal. I work for a company that has contracts with multiple companies. As a security officer, each jobsite is called a 'post'. My current post is likely going to be ending soon- the company that hired our security company is considering moving their company to Michigan. It's unclear what they are going to do. So, I believe the Anchor + Book is suggesting that the stability of this post will remain unclear for a bit. I wonder if the Clover following the Book suggests that I'll be proven right- we won't be needed, and soon. The Clover + Owls could show that I'll get doubly lucky though, and be offered a job at another post staying employed (in other words not laid-off) with my company (Ring).

I feel like I got the basic gist of this- mainly I see the Anchor/Ring and know that I will probably keep my job at least, even if I don't stay at this post- they will find somewhere else to put me. Just a little unclear on how to read the Book + Clover + Owls exactly. If someone could help me with that, I'd appreciate it.

Book + Owls - the 'hidden' information (what happens with your contract) comes to light via a phone call. The owls can also represent gossiping so perhaps someone is less than discrete and lets something slip.

Clover suggests that you will find out quickly - within a week. Clover might also suggest a short-term contract.

It seems positive for you to stay with the company though.

Thank you Flaxen! Finding out within a week corresponds to a tarot reading I did for a coworker. And the primary method of communication between my coworkers and I with our bosses is by phone (there are 2 bosses, by the way, who don't always agree or at least aren't always on the same page with one another- might be another aspect of the Owls that just came to me).

Looks like you'll learn something valuable, may be over the phone. You may get an exciting, even a bit nerving call. But it may be gossip too as secret of a kind is involved.

Are you sure your cards knew you were asking in a more phylosophical and general sense? Because you know how they can be literal to the point of showing you exactly what will happen in the next one hour, for example. Like "you'll quietly read a book or work on a notebook, get some salad and talk to someone around or over the phone".

Well I haven't read a book yet since I pulled these cards. I think I was taking a cue from the Anchor falling first, and then the Ring reflecting it... seemed to shout "Work contract!" to me. And job stability is questionable for me right now- I know the job post is ending, I just don't know when and that's a bit unnerving... not knowing what my employer is going to do with me. They can lay me off or move me to another post, if they have one. And I just feel really unprepared.

I think most jobs have gossip- I spend a good amount of time just listening to one of my coworkers gossip about the job and all the people in it. LOL Maybe she will tell me some more gossip... usually that's face-to-face though, but occassionally she will send me a text.
