Spring Sale at Llewellyn till 04-17-2012
Takes a bit of sleuthing or clever sorting but you can find many tarot decks and books 20-35% off. Most, including Steampunk, seem to be about $5.00 off retail. |

takes sleuthing is right, what an unuserfriendly site. Last sale I just gave up, and wrote them a letter instead. No response of course. |

I think this is it: http://www.llewellyn.com/browse_special_offers.php Not huge discounts, but nice enough! __________________ Either the Darkness alters, or something in the sight Adjusts itself to Midnight, And Life steps almost straight. ~ Emily Dickinson |

with that link I get 76 pages. No way and I going to wait for each of those pages to load. They should make it easy to break it down further, not everyone in the world is on blazing fast connections Enough about my grumps

hum, I couldn't get it to break down into tarot items on sale. 75 pages to load is a lot!!! Maybe if the more patient among us spot some especially good ones, they could post here. ETA: once you use the link I posted above, down the right side of the page are 'filters'. Using those I could get it down to 18 pages. __________________ Either the Darkness alters, or something in the sight Adjusts itself to Midnight, And Life steps almost straight. ~ Emily Dickinson Last edited by Alta; 12-04-2012 at 03:25. |

even with the sale, things still tend to be cheaper on amazon... __________________ currently reading with: Nusantara Tarot "The art of losing isn't hard to master..." |

Buying form amazon is usually easier and might even be cheaper. I usually tried to buy stuff like tarot directly from the artist, if they have a retail site, or from their publisher just to support this community more directly. It's capitalism, for sure, and power shopping is great fun, unless, of course, you've nto the patience to dig through a site to find the bargains (need a spare copy of Diane Wilke's lovely Jane Austen? $13.00!) A few scores of dollars one way or another doesn't bother me. |

The search filter on the right is a big help. It would be great if they had a separate Tarot category so that books on tea leaf reading, runes and so on didn't also come up though. While there aren't any decks at 75% off, there are some at 50% off and many at 30-35% off. Also, I checked out the decks I was interested in on Amazon before making the purchase. Unlike US Games decks, most of the Llewellyn decks are only 20 % off at best on Amazon so there really are some good deals to be had on the company site. |
