D'you know what though - that is EXACTLY my experience of the 10 of swords. It's like - 'oh, is that it? I was expecting something so much worse...' like you expect something to be so bad that you'll never get over it and it'll destroy you and then it's over already and you think 'wow what was i worrying about?!' so I think you hit the nail on the head with that! Before the PDA, I had squeezed my husband's hand at every contraction and he said later that he was glad too when I had gotten the PDA or his hand would have been black and blue the next day.
So much for the "Strength" card I had pulled for that day

Mine is 21 years old and lives in another country. It was 'that bad' for me, too. I was in intensive care after an emergency C-section. (After 6 hours of more or less 1-min apart contractions. Idiots. They're the ones who gave me the pit drip.) Anyway, it's all long ago now and that's beauty of it. It goes kinda fuzzy and you forget. But ... I decided to stop with the one.
