Shocking daily journals

When I'm in keep track mode, I go back the next day and note (in a different color of ink) WHAT was right about my reading, or if I was off. Only when I have time, though. Which isn't as often as I'd like.

The year I did percentages I went back over a year with still a different colored ink and made more notes.

Not much of a user of other methods (runes, etc.), although who knows, maybe someday.

Well.. I did ONE. It was before I joined this great site. I pulled my card for the day.. Five of Pentacles. I had been used to it being "Down & Out", etc. On my card, it didn't have a man on crutches, but rather people sitting outside of a church. Let's just say that if I would have had the crutches card.. I may have figured out what was coming. I fell and broke my leg & ankle bone that day! I figured that I had missed the warning so badly that it was useless to keep going with the daily draws. I found out pretty quickly that I do much better with "knowings", dreams, or full out Tarot readings.

I keep a daily journal and draw each day but also have a tarot phone app which chooses a "card of the day" too. Annoyingly the tarot app I find more accurate than my own pulling
I even emailed the creator of it and he said that its totally random, each person with the app will get a different card each day.

But there are some things right with my own card shuffling and selecting too. I like VGimlet's idea of underlining what was right each day. Gonna try that and reread the last choice maybe the next day! Need to refer back to the journal more. Do look for card patterns but I like the underlining idea I am sure long term practice and touching the cards will improve my accuracy for my day draws

I love daily draws, they are the most complete "manifestation" of the cards, and really help me to see how the card shows up in real life, often with surprising results. Often they serve just to give me food for thought rather than actual predictions, or perhaps things I have to watch out for, whether in my environment or in myself. I don't record them, but they are in the back of my mind throughout the day, and at the end of it I take a minute to think of my day, how the card manifested and what I can learn from it.

Since quite some time I have started doing the daily draws for self. I usually draw out 3 cards for my question which is usually about - Tell me about my day.

I think there have been very very few times when I was spot on. As usual, I tend to go with the book meanings when I see the cards for a particular day. There have been times when the cards by the end of the day make no sense for me. But yes there are also those many times when I see the card as indicating something which I could not even have thought of. One particular instance is about the Magician coming in my daily draw. By the end of the day I realised it was pointing towards my impromptu visit to a temple that day. Now ain't God a Magician ?????? Somehow I have started liking doing these daily draws - I wasn't a fan of them initially...!!

There have also been those times when I don't get time to do these daily draws (a few off days), and co-incidentally on that day something important turns up...and then I end up wishing that I should have done a draw today, and as to how that particular event would have been represented..!!
