how does he feel??

hi all this reading is for a friend on another site so i wanted some advice
she wanted to know how their boyfriend felt about them and it was a 3 card spread , but out of the cards i didn't get what the rvsd hermit middle card, and the heirophant meant ( 3rd card )or trying to say??
could be he is not feeling things too clearly right now and trying to figure out just how he feels, ? hermit, rvsd

but with the heirophant could it be he is thinking that she is too un-traditional for him ??

what do you think or does it suggest he is thinking of not playing by the rules does he have another person as in a live partner or wife , ? as sometimes it can stand for marriage , but as we are talking feelings to me i can only get form the cards that he feels that his feelings are not right , or that he has some mental issues going on right now that he does not want her to know about??

sorry that's a lot of maybes lol .. the first card was also a major card but i am not having as many probs with that one .

help appreciated thanks guys

Did you have positions for the cards ? If so, where was the hierophant ?

He could be controlling, want her to conform, to what HE wants.

hi yes gregory , thanks for reply , it was a 3 card pull , no positions but the hermit rvsd was the 2nd card, and the hierophant the 3rd card am i allowed to discuss the 1st card on here or not?? but i didn't have probs with the first card as it quite clearly refers to her not him tho.

Only two cards here or you go to YR.

But in 3rd place I would have said what I said and more so. That is sort of "outcome"ish.

Hermit reversed - maybe he doesn't want to be alone any more - as in wants to "commit" - but to a woman he can mould into what he wants (as the church - at times, don't hit me - does to its followers, kind of.)

I don't like the look of the combo for a relationship, I'd have to say.

hmm , yes i got a bit of a strange feeling off them cards too , i only felt that he was hiding something as it was the hermit rvsd and he wasn't going to shed light on it as the hermit is pretty closed off anyways or like to be in solitude but as it was reversed i just got a feeling some mental issues were affecting how he feels or he had mental issues per-say, as the hierophant could of suggested him being guided too i suppose by counselors , or psychiatrist ,

but as to your interp it does make lots more sense lol, yes i see the hierophant always seem,s to baffle me aswell as the reversed hermit, in combo control and conforming are very strong with the hierophant thanks so much for you hlep i just wasnt looking at the real question i guess and reading too deeply into the card or just going with my own intu , thanks again gregs

Hermit reversed for me says that he is avoiding something, he avoiding the
heirophant, the traditional way of looking at things. Avoiding marriage/commitment? Is marriage/commitment something your friend is seeking in a relationship? A lot of questions I know, but this is how I would be speaking to my client.

I'm in agreement. The Hermit upright suggests solitude and non-conformity. The Hermit rx would be the opposite. Being unhappy alone and wanting to conform. The Hierophant would reinforce this, emphasizing a desire for what is traditional. Also, possibly, some strong leader directing what those following him must do.

So if you feel something is wrong with this relationship, it's likely that he is going to find her not in line with what he's into. He might be part of something cultish (doesn't have to be a religion, could be a social club or even a sports' fan) and want his girlfriend to be part of it as well.

I second (third?) Pamuya and Thirteen. Hermit rx says to me that he's not thinking too deeply about what he might really want; he's just falling in with society's norms. Leave school, get a job, get married, have kids, etc. Rx cards to me signal something to look at more closely, so the Hermit rx might be a clue that he (they) should consider thinking about where they're going and whether it's genuinely what they want.
