are there any positive king of swords traits?
hello everyone, i was wondering if anyone felt there might be positive aspects of the king of swords? i keep getting him in readings--in different spreads and also decks. he's popping up in relationship readings, but he's even there when i ask a different question. i tried reading some of the archived older threads on this forum for perspective, and was a bit discouraged because he (if he's a person) doesn't sound like a terribly positive card, at least in a romantic sense. i did have one idea today and was curious what other folks might think. i thought perhaps that someone with asperger's might pop up as a king of swords? my boyfriend definitely has strong asperger's tendencies, and i thought if this is the case, maybe that is the correct interpretation. |

Provided he is not ill-dignified and of course, depending on the other cards, I think you would always know where you stood with King of Swords. There would be no BS I think he would not be afraid to take charge, to lead, to get answers, he'd be honourable and morally strong. He may not have the va va voom of Knight of Wands but he'd have alot of other really important qualities that would be invaluable in a long-term relationship |

There are positives to every card! I like the King of Swords. Here's a list: http://learntarot.com/skg.htm __________________ "Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)" - "Song of Myself," Walt Whitman |

in fact, based on what you said, i now think this card was trying to describe how he was going to react in a given situation-- i have chronic illness and i was surprised by my bf's reaction when i told him it had worsened (he's normally very passive and not at all take charge) but he behaved very resolutely in a supportive manner, and tried to find out all he could to do the best, logical thing. thank you so much. i would have never arrived at this without you all. |
