The strangest deck on my wish list right now I'd say is the Surrealist Tarot. I just adore the art on it. It's so creative and bizarre. It might turn out to be damn near incomprehensible to read with, but I'm willing to give it a try! __________________ Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you. - Carl Jung |

One of my weirdo decks is the Transformational Tarot. I suppose it's not supposed to be so strange and does at least loosely follow the RWS style. But for me this deck is totally confounding. I don't know if it will ever make any sense to me, yet I'm still so glad I got it. And I normally hate things that confuse me. |

Tarot of the Origins. I deeply love this deck, but am afraid I'll never really get it. __________________ Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?; Dumbledore |

Enochian and the I Am One tarot. Both very very much NOT Rider or Thoth clones but a totally foreign system of their own (and different from each other of course) But with artwork that is both compelling and a bit disturbing. __________________ To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. The Undersea Tarot by Frank Fradella
It doesn´t look strange to me and it´s not difficult but for some reason I´ve never come across anyone who´d use it regularly - except for me. So I guess it qualifies? The Undersea Tarot Last edited by Hemera; 01-05-2012 at 02:00. |

I agree with that. I do not get put off by art work that easily, but I finally traded away the Enochian. Rung too many bells inside me. __________________ Either the Darkness alters, or something in the sight Adjusts itself to Midnight, And Life steps almost straight. ~ Emily Dickinson |

Genege des Tarotas, complex, and intricate Alchemical Tarot is hard to use as I think it was designed to use. I keep working with it, but it is a work in progress, so much memorization. __________________ Full cup, steady hand. Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing. Ah! Oh! I forgot about the Tarot of Metamorphosis. One of my favorite decks, but mad as a fish. |
