I'm the exact opposite...I could probably sleep 18 hours a day... I think I'm part cat! Except when I'm in the middle of stressing out. Then I can't sleep no matter how tired I am..but I think that's a normal thing. __________________ The most wasted of all days is one without laughter. ~e e cummings ~~~~~~~~ Give a person a fish and you feed him for a day. Well, today is my youngest granddaughter's second birthday. But I've no idea what they're doing as they didn't answer my questions, I don't know waht she got, have seen no pictures for a couple of months, and had to email today to find out if the vouchers I'd sent had arrived. "Oh yes, didn't I say, we opened them too to make sure they were okay" So they did arrive last Tuesday like track'n'trace said. Haven't seen her since she was four months old. I'm wondering why I bother, more than usual this afternoon, especially when I should have been baking here and cooking, instead of keep refereshing the mum's twitter page to see if they put anything. http://twitter.com/#!/hazewilkinson Bummy bummy bum really. I only nap if my blood sugar is too high... it's a dead giveaway! Or if I'm ill, and then I sleep until I'm better usually. When I was poorly bad, I slept almost all the time ![]() There, Dizzy had his boosters. Not a happy dog although everyone at the vets gave him a big cuddle. Even the bloke who'd gone in with a poorly chicken

((((((((PW)))))))) I can imagine your pain at this situation...I get depressed if I don't see Elaina every week, and my entire life plan changed when she was born, because I needed to stay near enough to watch her grow up... I'm so sorry you aren't being allowed this right

(((PW))) That's such a painful situation to find yourself in! There is no comfort to be offered I think; even the knowledge that one day they will regret this doesn't help a single bit. The only thing I can point out is that himself's estranged children from his first, youthful marriage have all contacted him of their own volition as soon as they were old enough to do so. (Having been kept from contact by their mother who oddly, was the one who requested the divorce in the first place!). __________________ When I was a child/I caught a fleeting glimpse/Out of the corner of my eye La ilaha illa Allah Last edited by Wendywu; 01-05-2012 at 01:33. |

Difficult to converse here at the moment. OH has unilaterally decided to download the update for his sat nav, ignoring the fact that I am working and, er, trying to post! Our BB can't cope and I can't wait that long for each thing to load or go etc. So I'll probably disappear till after tea. So I'll prepare tomorrow's stuff now and chat later Keeps me outta amazon anyway.

Thank you for your kindnesses. I should say in the defence of my daughter and her husband, they would have no problem with me driving up there as often as I wanted I should think - doesn't cost them anything does it? But it was when my foot condition (and lack of car too) prevented me from doing all the leg-work, that I stopped seeing them - because "it's too far for them to travel in a day" It's been happenig for a while, so maybe I'm just getting a little bit hardened to it - but it still pisses me off, and I wonder how the children are. My nice neighbours have two girls too - same age as my grandchildren - I practise being a pretend granny whenever I can That helps somewhat.
