Good one!! "ex-decks!"

I think I am going to go read a book or something. And glare at the rain.

It must be very difficult to get about if there aren't many roads Chiska. How do folks manage?

Well I've been outside (it's after sunset here) and lit the candles round my Beltaine circle. But it's been so very wet for weeks that I've done nothing else!
So I went and stood out in the circle for a while, welcomed a bat that whooshed by, watched the clouds move in the sky, and welcomed the Green.

Anyone better prepared than me? Anyone have pictures?

Hi all. Xtraordinary photo from TCO

When I wrote my friend in Hamburg that I'm visiting my gf in Calgary she thought I'm crazy to drive the 300 km from Edmonton to Calgary - no sweat.

Living in Hamburg, for that distance I would have brought my car to the garage for an overhaul and tune-up.
So funny because one gets service and emergency much faster in Germany than here where you have at some highways no service for 135 km.

The weather cleared up here, and by lunchtime we had the dry but there was a strong, gusty wind. I didn't get out - I went to the vet and when I got home the vampire was just walking up the road on her way home from work. So she invited herself in.....

When she left, James came home and then it was dinner....

I shall have to spend a while meditating later, when himself has fallen asleep. It's not ideal but it's as good as it's gonna get

According to Wikipedia, Alaska is more than double the size of Texas -- almost 3x the size!

So happy to be home. There were no afternoon appointments so they let me leave. Glad. I became ill after I clocked back in from lunch. Just had a yogurt, but my body feels poisoned.

THinking of stretching out for a bit to see if my tummy settles.

Wee airplanes and crazy pilots. But people manage - they always have. There are doctors, etc., who make rounds of the villages. There are pilots who fly all over the state.

When we were kids, we didn't see a doctor, we saw a public health nurse. They were the ones that were spread out all over the state.
