Hi

I do understand, not what you are going through of course but the need to spend some time looking at these cards. In hindsight of a situation, any situation I am the same, even if it is painful - I want to understand... which is why I felt the need to add my post to your thread other than of course how sorry I was.

I am glad my thoughts were helpful in some small way, the synchronicity with your dog and family are interesting and I think a comforting affirmation in a way of the connection of spirit and the knowledge he is still around you all.

Wishing you peace and healing x

I am glad u responded because I like the additional thoughts. I have always felt that this brother was a soul mate, not only have I had dreams of him when going through major life changes, but two years ago, he came to the state in which I now currently live, and was living with me, and made friends with a gentleman that I was in briefly in the 7th grade with. He brought this gentleman into my life, and I saw that as one of the purposes of him in my life. He also gave me both of the dogs I have, and the last one that he gave me, which is a little Yorkie actually started choking and gasping for air around the same time this happen 500 miles away. So these types of things and the fact that the week before my apartment was set on fire, by some little kids outside, and the fact that it brought back horrible memories of the fire we experienced in the riots in Newark, when I was just a kid, connected me with the fact that this brother was born in that fire, in that time, so in hindsight its like he came into my life and awareness with fire and left with fire. Also my daughter and my nephew who were closes to him both experienced extreme night sweats and changes in body temperature the night we found out he passed.
These are the types of things I cant discuss with my family, who are traditional baptist.
Seeing the fish as a soul mate card makes sense. These are the things that helps me understand the cards better in the future, some may think its unimportant, but it is a part of spiritual lesson and guidance for me.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I can understand your desire to understand everything possible about this layout. I can't help feeling that it is like a last letter to you from your brother - Whip+Letter (writing a letter) in the diagonal corners. He doesn't want you to feel sad - Sun, as this was done of his own free will. Personally, I don't feel capable of reading it as I'm not really that experienced with the Lenormand cards, but I suspect there is an important additional message in the cards for you that you may unravel through time.

I appreciate your sharing so much with us. We don't often see the real depth to which such a reading can go, when it touches that exactly and agonizingly.
