Different editions of the French Cartomancy Lenormand
I haven't opened mine yet. It says "mini kit edition". Does that mean the cards are even smaller than the usual Lenormand size? Or is it the other edition that has smaller cards? Which edition is currently in print? |

I've always been bemused by this and started a thread somewhere... I have never ever seen a smaller FC Lenormand in the flesh but I see it listed quite regularly... |

Mini kit means its the regular cards with a small book/booklet (not just the lwb). I had this years ago. I have to say the booklet wasn't all that helpful, but it might give an alternative view of the cards, now that I know more from other sources. The French Cartomancy by LS is a reproduction of the Dondorf Lenormand. There are other publishing companies who also have decks that are reproductions of the Dondorf as well. If you want a smaller FC, get a Dondorf-type deck. As WolfyJames wrote, it has the same images as the FC. However, it is smaller. FC cards are 62x100mm, whereas Dondorf are 60x90mm. |
