...just a quick note...the Lenormand deck is not like a tarot deck. And the interpretations and
readings are totally different as well. Just wanted you to be aware of that if you weren't already, hon

Aza, i will be writing up my own meanings and take on the Lenormand cards for my deck
but i won't be posting those here in my creation thread, as they will go with the purchase of the deck.

...i think that is usually the same even for tarot deck creations, as well.

Ohhh- I like the pinkish one! It blends so well with the border and I love the way the snake is curled in the plant.

i am trying to 'like' the snake being in 'any' Lenormand deck so i wanted to make a snake
that i can live with! LOL It is a pretty snake for sure

The 7. Snake card was the 1st card i learned in the lennie deck
For a week i experienced its character traits through people and even in my sleep (dreams)!!! YIKES....

Thankfully, either one of these versions will would work for me... It will be fun to see what the others think too

i was going to make another lennie card, but it is already 2am and my yard workers are coming over early tomorrow
...got to try to get some sleep... (ETA: oops...it is only 1 am not 2am...LOL)

Oh wow! i love the pink snake image best All the pinks blend so beautifully, but yet the green of the flowering plant gives great contrast. Well done!


P.S. i do like how the green snake looks, too, but it doesn't have enough background contrast. The pink snake is just PERFECT!

I wonder if the snakes would look better if they switched backgrounds?

In the current Snake 2 card, the composition of the card favors the rosebush and not the snake.

In the Snake 1 card, the snake looks too photo-shopped. It clashes too much against the background of the stone well.

So, I wonder what they would look like switched?

The first snake is certainly a more traditional image, and is the one I liked more initially.......but since the snake card can also represent a woman (queen of clubs) and not necessarily danger or deceit, the second snake may be a better representation. I don't think it works with its current background though.
