and don't worry about the heart shaped box. Please don't get rid of the flowers to the right of it; as it is part of what i love about it... Maybe you could just make the flowers a bit smaller, rather than eliminate them, etc...

[i really don't care for version 5 anywhere near as much as version 3.]
I am with my sis on this one- 3 was definitely my favorite! I don't think you even need to change a thing. It was simply perfect as it was. I love the mirror as well- it was all so sublime. I would say 3 is the one. It is perfect in its shabby chicness.

YES!!! it really IS perfect as is--- and i really don't want anything changed, either. [i only mentioned possibly making the roses smaller, cuz i was worried you [Lyn] would remove them.] i love the mirror and the reflection in it. As i already said in the infamous words of Gollum, " i wants it; i needs it! My preciousssssss!!!
Version 3 is the One Ring that rules them all!

Same here, so far among all the versions, number 3 is the most appealing for me, it is so nicely Shabby Chic

But, I do wish the ring was more the focal point in the picture. Right now the little gift box by its side that has the flower on the top is more dominante than the ring...

ETA: the idea of the oyster shell box was good too but the material used didn't really work and its color was not giving enough contrast with the ring

Well, hmmmmm....i hate sacrificing anything in version 3; but as a concession, what about if the Ring box was more in the middle with the flowers behind the box?

Penthasilia...thank you...yes it does HAVE a nice chicness to it BUT i think it might
have been a bit overpowered by the other stuff...just a tad maybe...so you can see below
that i have made some changes to it...but now i am worried about the heart ring box looking too big
and too confusing for the regular heart card?
Thank you for speaking up...because is looks like everyone likes version 3 the best...
What do you think of it now below?

You needs it...LOL...Ha Ha
So sis, did i change it too much in the revamp below?

LadyZelda, that is what i thought too, that the ring was not the focal point of the card ...
But now that i have enlarged the ring and box...i AM worried that the 'heart' shape is way
too much because of the regular heart card...unless i make the heart card REALLY stand out...that is a thought right?
What do you think of think the changes i just made (the revamp below) is it about right now?
If i start playing with what i have done so far, it could end up in a mess...the voice of experience here LOL

What if i found a different shaped box...but maybe a pink one that is similar? Just a thought...
Thank you...i think we might be narrowing this situation down...LOL

i think i did what you said here...right? ...i made it larger and moved it to the middle more.....
and i did keep your flower but just hid all the other stuff that was overpowering the ring as Lady Zelda said...
Thanks sis...version 3 is definitely in...just need to get it right...maybe a different bo

Thanks everyone!
Lyn

Thumbs up Version 3 reworked

Yep! I think you've got it just right! That did the trick, the ring is the focal point, the rose buds give a nice Shabby Chic accent as well as the background!

I don't think that the box will be a problem with the Heart Card because it doesn't show enough the shape of a heart to create any confusion. And the ring really dominates, when you look at the card what you notice first is the ring! It does grab your attention and renders the rest secondary.

Unless, you have another version popping up in you that you'd like to try; I believe that this one would make a wonderful Ring Card!

That was not an easy one! Great job Lyn

LadyZelda...you are right on the ring card...it was a little on difficult side to do
Thank goodness it does look great next to the other cards...and it really adds the
'chic' to the shabby...LOL
No, i think this will be the ring card...and no extra ring cards. i just need to do a really 'stand out' heart card.
Thank you! for you critiquing today...that really helped me get it right!
But...now on to the coffin again!!! i really want to get that card settled too...

sis, whew! is right!!! LOL ... i was worried you wouldn't like it revamped...
...but looks like you do...so that made my day!

We now have our 25. RING card... and i won't change a thing on it...you have your wish my sis!

HUGS
Lyn

maybe you can use it for another card? I can't remember without looking back what you have left to complete.

I don't think it is too bland, although it is very white, so should have a darker object in the foreground.

Thank you so much garmonbozia, that is an excellent idea!!! i love that background!
...i will see if it will fit into another card...i am so glad you mentioned that, because i had
dismissed that background ...i might be able to use it as a background fill in on something else.

i just looked through the cards i have left to do and only found 5 that might be a possibilty
using this background... but won't know for sure until i try doing those 5. They are the heart,
the whip, the key, the letter, and the lilies...i will try to use it somewhere.
Thanks again for thinking of that!

Lyn
