Explosion dream
I had a dream my roommate plotted to kill all our other roommates for some money. I don't know how she got the money or where she found it, but she planned to get them in a room together and blow them all up. I never liked the idea but I didn't know how to stop her until the day she set the actual trap (which included lining the room with money, by the way.) I got a piece of paper and wetted it with water (like, cupped it) and threw it all around the room in which she'd lined the bomb. I think she went in there early or was in there with me but didn't see me, and the bomb went off, scarring one side of her. I remember next being in the middle of my driveway watching her hobble up as fast as she could to me, with her arm and fist aimed to punch me. I called 911 and told them where I lived but I couldn't say my house number right at first. The next scene I saw we were in court on the stand, and I was sobbing, but she wasn't. I'd also gotten arrested and was hoping the judge would see how genuinely bad I felt and let me off with a lighter sentence. I should also add she got the idea for the bomb from our place of work after our security officer was monitoring a homeless man outside the store muttering to himself. They kept emphasizing he might be a serial bomber and I was afraid our officer would go outside and get killed. There was a romantic undertone between him and I in that scene too. They kept calling this serial bomber the "Jelly Bomb" or something, and vaseline was a key ingredient. Weird. When I woke up this morning I looked up the explosion, money, driveway, and 911 so I'm guessing I'm on some kind of journey that's about to have a big result or come to an end and I'll learn something, but I was wondering if there was anything in here that alluded to what that journey is, or what's about to happen? They were talking about repressed rage for the explosion, sounds frightening to me. Concerning the explosion, all I keep seeing in my mind is the Tower card, but I didn't dream it. __________________ The truth cannot be hidden. Let's see. Someone having ill intentions, and you want to expose them. But being in that position, it'll leave you unsafe. So in the dream, you're constantly finding ways to feel safe. So somewhere inside, you feel like doing the good thing, but in doing that it'll leave you as a target for the bad things. Someone builds the tall tower (trying to hide things inside), you're the lightning of truth (trying to expose it all), but also it'll cause a feeling of instability, caution, and unsafe feelings. The explosion scared your roommates face. Like how the lightning destroys a part of the tower. You're on the cops side, the good side. And your roommate is on the criminal side, the bad side. You don't want to let her get away with the bad things she's done, so she gets the scarring to remember all the negativity she tried to impose upon others. Perhaps the half scarred portion of her shows like a yin and yang structure. Perhaps this whole dream is to indicate to you of the good and the bad. The opposites that exist in this world. The karma principle. All those types of things. |

Some patterns I noticed in the dream after continually thinking on it were... The homeless man, and the room mate post-explosion. Both are things society sort of avoids. It's ugly and real and proof of it's existence tends to bother society in waking life. Both also need assistance or help in some way. Also note the fact my room mate is blowing up money, while the homeless man is blowing up cars. The homeless man needs money and doesn't know my room mate or anything but she is blowing money up. I wonder if there's anyone who might be intrinsic enough to find the connection between exploding money and cars? The homeless man, the woman room mate I'm thinking is representing some kind of Yin/Yang theme. I'm still stuck on working completely through it though. __________________ The truth cannot be hidden. Money and cars remind me of the "coins" suit in the Tarot that deals with the physical materials. Also the cars remind me of the Chariot card. Well maybe those things are important to people given their value. Exploding these would create loss and fear. Also if cars are exploded (Chariot card), it'll be unmovable. And since the Chariot card means moving towards victory, it means that now the Chariot is in a million pieces, and that no one will be victorious in the end. Perhaps it's a dream about being financially unstable. As everything valuable is blown to bits, and you feel like there's nothing left. Or maybe it's more metaphysical than that. Like a message to not be so concerned with the body or with the material, as you have something eternal inside of you. There is no winning in trying to gain the material things. It only causes madness, grief and loss. |
