Get the person who has this disease an appointment with a Homeopathic Doctor immediately. The quicker it is treated, the better. Even if this means breaking open the piggy-bank and a long car journey.

If the Homeopath suggests Antibiotic treatment, then do it. They will be able to remove any of the traces of the antibiotics with Homeopathy.

If a doctor suggests intravenous antibiotics for a long period of time, GET ANOTHER OPINION!!

Don't try and treat this yourself with our advice. Get specialised help, please.

If you're searching the net you'll need the right spelling - it's Lyme disease, named after a place, Old Lyme, in New England, I believe. It's caused by a type of bacteria and transmitted by tick bites, so do take the antibiotics!

Can I second Diana's comments - don't search, don't go on our advice, seek professional help. It's much better to be safe than sorry.

It is spelled Lyme Disease, and there's a lot of info on it. Get to a doctor & forget homeopathic on this one, there's permanent damage that can occur if it's untreated. My mother had it, developed very sore hands she could barely bend, & fever, waited two months to go to the doctor about it. The doctor missed it the first visit, found it with a blood test on the second visit, and she was put on pills which COMPLETELY cleared it up in a few months.

This is a disease that advances, and is very painful. The best treatment is to catch it quick & hit it with the medicines already developed specifically for it that are on the market now. If your doctor doesn't know the treatment, then get a second opinion. It is very treatable in the early stages. Ignore it or wait too long & it's going to be something you'll have to live with for a long time.

Lyme's is not something to fool around with....
you do not want to suppress it you want to get rid of it, as soon as possible. The longer one carries lymes, the more damage done to the body. The pain is from the disease working & progressing. There are many symptoms caused by lymes, some may not show up right away.
Aggressive tratment is the only way to deal with this one.

thanks

thanks guys, and sorry for my bad spelling! but if you look at the time that i was up when i posted.... very sleepy person at 3 in the morning...:) this is what happend. about alittle over two years ago, he was bit by a tick, we removed the big nasty, then about two weeks later the bite developed a bulls eye around it the size of a quarter, we went to the doctor, and said it was lymes. he was given the pills to take care of it, because we caught it early, the doc said, that it should clear up and he would be ok. and for about two years he was fine no symptoms or any thing. until recently he started having 'arthritis pains' we did a few different divinations, and asked some 'friends' we know and basicly we are to use 'herbs of the earth' to help with the pain. and thats why i went here.

Two years? OUCH!.....that's not good. I'm suprised the doc did not have you come for a return visit to do test to make sure the Lymes is gone. Lyme Disease is common where I live, most people do just like you did, treat it quickly with medication, but they go back to make sure it is gone. There are times though where one does not realise the disease has taken hold. The treatment takes much longer once the disease is at this stage. You may be able to get rid of Lymes still, but not the effects that it has caused at this point. I had a friend who went without treatment, an older woman who is not very healthy to begin with. Her treatments where pills & she had to take them for several months.....I suggest doing some treatment research so when you go back to the doc, you will have an idea if what he gives you will work. Check with medical schools. Many times there is new info that has not made it to some of the established doctor offices.
Good Luck!!!

I think you need to have hime consult a doctor as a matter of urgency - rather than simply rest on the results of divination. It may be that the current symptoms are not connected but I don't think he can take the risk.

Hope all goes well.

A blood test aimed specifically at Lyme disease will tell if this is the cause & not a standard form of arthritis developing. Hopefully it's not Lyme, after all this time it'll have settled in the system further & be harder to eradicate.

Have the doctor verify if it's Lyme first, then make decisions on the treatment needed. I wish you guys well.
