that is a true thing too. I just purchased a pair of shoes, (again, I refer to them as my old lady sneakers,

), they are not the prettiest, but I went to a REAL shoe store--and the man even measured my foot, and the width, put the shoes on me - WITH A REAL SHOE HORN!

and then had me walk--and he knew I had one short leg (1/4" difference) and also sold me a 'lift'.

I thought you had to have an orthopedic prescription for those! not any more!
My shoes feel like HEAVEN!!! and, I can walk w/o limping now--and last a lot longer on my feet.
course, they did cost a small fortune, but hubby was okay w/it. I wear them ALL the time now.

That is what I have --Clarks. my sneakers. I payed $110.00 for them though.
