that is a true thing too. I just purchased a pair of shoes, (again, I refer to them as my old lady sneakers, ), they are not the prettiest, but I went to a REAL shoe store--and the man even measured my foot, and the width, put the shoes on me - WITH A REAL SHOE HORN! and then had me walk--and he knew I had one short leg (1/4" difference) and also sold me a 'lift'. I thought you had to have an orthopedic prescription for those! not any more!

My shoes feel like HEAVEN!!! and, I can walk w/o limping now--and last a lot longer on my feet.

course, they did cost a small fortune, but hubby was okay w/it. I wear them ALL the time now.

the hobbit film only got released here on boxing day, so i'm waiting a while, as it will still be very popular, especially as school holidays continue for a few more weeks.

That is what I have --Clarks. my sneakers. I payed $110.00 for them though. you can find them on ebay???

Well, but the feet and the legs are connected and the flow of blood is going up and down. I dunno why; they just help somehow.

But I do think the Dr Scholls wear out. I've had that happen, too.

they will also make your feet feel better! trust me on this. they are GREAT! and, in the winter, they keep your legs/feet warm too! another wonderful thing w/them. (in my opinion. I'm always cold)

not usually. But, I do generally spend $50.00 on my sneakers at Kohls. I have not purchased a pair in about 2-3yrs.

However, my hubby encouraged me to get these. I am suppose to wear corrective shoes--due to my leg issues--but they are so expensive, and ugly--I have not done so in years.

also penneys. but, they didn't have a wide width--and I have a wide foot.

Oh, yeah, love me some Clarks. I even made my hubby a believer. He gets stuck on a certain brand and if you get him something new, he's very aloof and just kind of ignores it. I've been getting him another brand of boat shoes for years and love Clarks so well I got him a pair. He grumbled - and then wore the new pair, the Clarks, one afternoon when his others were wet. Bam! That was it for him!
